ACTIVITIES DEPARTMENT :: SPECIAL EVENT:

Activities Department offers a variety of programs for resident’s enjoyment. Programs offered are crafts, ice cream party, theme party’s men’s group, Spanish group.

We also offer a variety of games and movies.
Monthly events are birthday parties, cocktail parties, musical entertainment, and religious services. Resident council.
Seasonal Events: Holiday parties outings such as theatre trips. boat trips, picnics, bowling trips.
Programs are offered on each floor at 9:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. and in the activity room.
Evening programs are offered 7 days a week.

Our Recreation Program

We believe that a positive component of rehabilitative therapy comes from daily stimulation through recreation and entertainment. That is why we provide our residents with a stress-free environment in which a typical day can be a balance of therapy, medical treatment, entertainment and recreation. There is a library on every floor. Movies are shown in the main dining room and on each of the day rooms. There are walking tours in the neighborhood to beautiful Van Cortland Park, nearby. Other frequent outings include day cruises, dinner theatre, baseball games, picnics in the park and concerts.

Our program provides a lively array of recreational activities for each day of the week, many taking place in our Outdoor patio, weather permitting.
